I've played this hand a few days ago. Because I kept thinking about it I want to know your guys opinion.

The main reason I think I misplayed is because it's a deepstack table and we're much deeper than on a regular table.

I won't show the hand entirely to keep your opinions objective but I'll post my decision at the time+ how it turned out after some comments.

So if you read this thread, share your insights! all input is appreciated :)

ok so you have the nut flush draw and two overs so you definitely aren't folding. however, raising with the intention of getting it in for 250bb also doesn't seem wise since you will be not in good shape against a set, and the only other hand you will get action from is an overpair most often QQ, where you are about a coinflip to win. flipping at best for 250bb does not seem ideal imo. that leaves calling to almost certainly be the right play here. if you hit you can potentially win a big pot.

I would play call. On turn check/call. You will get flush on turn one on tree times. If on river you don't receive your outs I would play check/fold.

Fold here. You didn't hit anything, right?

my bet is you are either against QQ or JJ. the former is a flip, the latter you have to hit your flush and the board cannot pair.

call is probably the right choice. personally I am often too much of a nit and would fold though.

I would flat and check/fold the turn on any card that isn't an ace, king or any diamond if my opponent bet at least 2/3 pot.

I'd lead again if the turn was an ace, king or any diamond for 2/3 pot.

call here

check/call any AKQT or diamond. Fold otherwise

check/raise on the river with the nuts, else check/call

I am sorry. I didn't see that you actually hit the nut flush draw. I think you shall 3bet here and be not afraid to go alllin against the villain

Any plan other than making a laydown will be a good one here in my mind.

Calling is fine but so is making the aggressive play of 4betting this re-raise - so depends on villain's image, history and playing style.

We have to take villain's playing style into consideration in order to make the right decision in this hand not only at this moment/decision but even after this in the hand. Deep stack is more about playing the player than usual.

So whichever move you make - the hand is not over yet that's the beauty of playing deep stacked poker. Gotta think on so many levels than normal.;)

call the raise. If the turn is A,K or diamond lead 2/3 pot(If the turn is A or K and he raises again after I bet I will consider folding if the player is not aggresive).
If I miss the turn i will check-fold with the wrong odds.

Based on what we know the villains range should be "any pair, any two broadway, any suited ace". TAG route would be smart make the call and check raise accordingly.

Projects need to be played passively most of the times. If you don't hit you are going to gift your stack?

4bet him on flop for 78bb and continue betting till the end of the hand if he calls... cause its deepstack he can 3bet you with J with lower kicker and fold to your 4bet...
