OK so I raise in 3rd utg with an utg limper to 13$ preflop with AQ of clubs. I get two callers and we proceed to see the flop.

Flop comes 5 A 7 (5 of clubs, otherwise rainbow)

I'm in middle position and I bet 20$, I get one caller from the guy in position behind me and the other player folds.

Turn comes 2 of clubs, which didn't seem like it had that much influence on the hand so I chose to lead out again for 35$, I get snap raised to 85$ dollars. Normally I would be more concerned that I didn't have the best hand but this player had been quite agro and I thought he may have been trying to make a move on me plus I had some outs if he hit the straight or Aces up.

River comes the 8 of spades and I check to which he instantly shoves, I eventually laid it down and I will never know what he had. Should I have folded on the check raise on the turn because it feels like I played the hand poorly?

turn is still a call for me, we could have another clubs on river

2 pair kind of hands or sets is still beatable at that point unless the board paired

It sounds like you called the turn.. yes?

So OTF you have a good TP, and a backdoor FD. You lead, get called. OTT you now have a NFD and still TP.

I dont like the call OTT. You said he is agro, so go for FE OTT by shoving (as well as having a better hand anyway a lot....). I should open my pokerstove, but I dont know what range to give him. Does he agro out like that with... well, what? Would he play a set with a FD board like that? With a worse A?

I am assuming he is agro as you said, so his range is gonna have a lot of stuff we look good against here. BUT....

Stacks?

I think the play here is overall fine because we can't rule out a set of 5s or 7s or even AK when the river fails to improve our hand. Depending on stacks sizes when he shoves (i.e. his stack is super small by river shove), I might sigh call in case he has a weak Ace that didn't two pair by river or was aggro betting a missed draw).

Most of the time I think your line here is decent unless you're certain your AQ beats villan on turn then I'd shove the turn. But without more info it's a tough call on turn play. We're either a bit behind or far ahead but we don't know.

Just fold the turn when the guy Baluga's you (Assuming he has a full stack behind).
