Hi guys I played an interesting hand at a 2/5 NL table and would like some feedback on my thought process throughout the hand.

Starting stacks:

Hero: $500
CO: $450
Hi-Jack: $1500

Hi-Jack and CO both limp. Hero opens to $30 on the BTN holding A:spade: J:spade: Both villains call.

The flop comes: Q:club: T:spade: 2:heart: $97 in pot

The flop gets checked around.

The turn brings a 4:spade: $97 in pot

Hi-jack bets $25. CO calls. Hero???

The Hi-jack and the CO are both loose players. Their ranges consist of Qx, Tx and FDs. At this point, given the small $25 bet, I believe I have plenty of F/E against their fairly weak ranges so raising to $100 seems like the best play. Even if I get called I have plenty of outs and can bluff the river on a blank.

Everything seems good. Although I wouldn't fire the river on a blank. If they are loose then they are probably going to call with Qx and maybe some strong Tx. The only hands you are folding out are the ones you already beat so it is better to check the river and hope to win with ace high.

whats your plan if villain shoves on you ?
taking into account that both players are loose , I would be preserving my equity and flatting this. unless your prepared to stack off on a draw.

hopefully your opponents are also flushing and you can stack off with the nutz.

I agree with the ~4x raise here. This probe bet seems like bottom pair or a draw of some sort from such a weak bet from a LAG. Under the assumption that you are a TAG, raising here in a multi-way pot shows lots of strength and I think you have a decent chance of just taking it down right here.

If they shove on you like kanselau suggested, well, to make it interesting lets say you raise to $100 and the CO goes all-in and the HJ folds.

that would be $395 more into a pot of $742 (~1.9:1 odds). He would be shoving against a TAG with most likely no less than TPTK and possibly 2 pair or a set. Your equity against all of these 3 most likely possibilities is surprisingly similar - right around a 3:1 dog. That means you are not getting the right odds to call so you would fold any Shove here.

I agree with the Godson here; if you do raise and one or both of them happen to call you but then they check the river also and the river card was a miss for you, then I would check back as well (since they are LAG)

Raising or calling both are fine here. I like the raise option better - yes our chances of making them fold to a raise is good as the turn bet is indicative of both villains having weak holdings. Our line of action can look super strong to them since we checked the flop and raised both of them on the turn. Even top pair will sometimes fold to this so like going with a raise here. :icon_pira
