Hi guys recently played an interesting hand at a 2/5 NL table and would like some feedback on the way I approached this hand.

Starting stacks:

Hero: $500
Villain: $200

Villain just sat down at the table so I don't have much info on him aside from the fact that he is an older Asian gentlemen and bought in short stack which probably indicates that he is not the best of players. It is a $10 BTN straddle. Villain opens from UTG+1 to $25. Hero 3 bets from MP2 to $75 holding A:diamond: K:diamond:. It is folded around to Villain who just calls.

The flop comes: T:spade: 4:spade: 7:spade: $167 in pot

Villain checks. Villain's range consists mainly of AK, AQ, 22-QQ. Against this range we are a 20% underdog so checking the flop playing the turn seems optimal against an unknown given that if I shove and get called I will most likely be behind.

Thanks for the feedback guys!

Just shove here. With out an As, the villain can hardly call you.

He has just $125 I believe,

Look at his chips, then order the dealer to count it.

Then bet the exact amount the dealer just counted.

Vill has a goofy stack to pot ratio, I think I just call, planning to shove over his c-bets on lots of flops.

As played, you're only getting worse to fold. I think I just check, given his azn-ness. If he looked at his cards again on the flop to check for a spade, and the turn falls blank, I'd probably call a bet.
