$400 NLHE Full Ring: 2 barrel bluff against decent player
Hi guys I played an interesting hand at a 2/5 NL and would like some feedback on the way I approached this hand.
On a straddled button Villain opens to $25 in MP1. MP2 calls and Hero raises to $100 in the CO holding A♣ K♣. It gets folded around to Villain who flats. MP2 folds.
The flop comes: 2♥ 5♦ 6♦ $237 in pot
Villain checks. Hero bets $100. Villain calls.
The turn brings a 7♣ $437 in pot
Villain checks. So far villain's range looks like AQs+ and TT+. With Villain having $333 behind, I figured there is some fold equity left in this hand so I opted to bet $250 to get villain to fold AKs, TT, JJ, and maybe QQ. Even if I get called, I most likely still have an A or a K as live outs. Prior to this hand, villain would limp call my opening bets OOP a high percentage of the time but would also open from EP with decent holdings. He would also chase draws post-flop. He has showed down strong holdings as well so he somewhat has an idea of pre-flop hand selection and plays okay post-flop.
Thanks for the feedback guys!
