$400 NL HE 6-max: TT gets c/r on 887 twotone flop

Villain is bad, plays 33/9 but surprisingly raises a lot of flops. 3bets 5%; not position dependent. I think that his flop check/raise can be a lot of hands but is virtually never going to be 88, 77 or 87. His WTSD is 42%.

Took me a few seconds before I decided to shove, because while I think I'm way ahead of his total checkraising range, I think I'll get action from flushdraws and 99 and maybe even T9. Overcards generally only have about 25% equity vs me but pose a reverse implied odds situation (if I call and an ace rolls off, I probably can't win another bet but I can certainly lose one) and I don't mind so much that most of the time my shove just folds out weaker hands.

All good?

Oh man, plz tell me he does not show A8? If he is that bad I can almost see this. What I am hoping to hear from this is villain's reraise was just a firing of bullets - either with air or on a draw - then folded to your ai reraise. Plz say this is what happened!

If you think you will get action from draws I guess this line is ok, but in general I think it allows a competent villain to play perfectly by shoving here. We hold two of the tens making T9 less likely, if villain does have AcJc AcQc KcQc etc he is a favorite and will still call, I'd much rather flat and shove a blank turn if we're intent on getting our money in. There aren't too many non bluffing hands that we're in good shape against. We're dead to two outs against 8x, overs and a FD have a small edge on us, all we really dominate is 7x, smaller pairs and i guess 65 or T9 (and we hold two Ts)..all of which aren't calling this over shove on the flop. If we're going to get the $ in, I'd call and wait for the turn to blank and see how villain proceeds.

you say villain raises a lot of flops....how does he proceed if his raise is called? Shutdown, continue? This is important also, use our position to our advantage

On a paired board, flushdraw + overs isn't actually a favorite vs my hand. It's not a huge point (I think we're talking 53/47 or something like that) but there's no drawing hand that beats me. And this isn't a competent villain :)

I could flat and try to play a safe turn. What's safe, though? We're hoping for
no six, nine, jack, queen, king, ace or club, right? That's a tall order. And what exactly are we hoping he'll do on a safe turn? Check? Bet?

I'm not sure how he proceeds after raising flops. His turn aggression frequency is 44%, make of that what you will.
