Villain is terrible in a pre-boom way, raises for information, folds solid showdown value hands getting great odds based on "live reads," in his 40s and probably doesn't play online poker. Probably doesn't play $2/$5 regularly, either (it's a big game to be really bad at).

History: He has been shortstacked most of the night but caught a 2-outer to get his current stack. We had only been involved in one small hand where I donked AT from SB on Txx board into 3 people, BB and he called; I donked K turn, BB called and villain says he folded AT.

My image is probably very LAG and I had been caught in a huge bluff earlier in the night.

Action is 7-handed, UTG folds, Villain ($400) is UTG+1 and limps, BTN ($600) limps.

I have KQcc in SB with $600 and make it $30. Super LAG internet pro BB folds, Villain calls and BTN folds.

Flop (pot $70): :jd4: :kd4: :7s4:
I bet $45. He pauses says, "I like that bet." He makes it $90.
I think a long time and finally call.

Turn ($250): :7c4:
I check, he checks

River ($250): :qh4:
Effective stacks are $280, Hero bets how much?

I regret not betting the turn but that's with the benefit of more information than I had at the time. In retrospect it seems the turn is like the best possible card that doesn't hit me as it reduces the nut combos he'd limp-call pre, min-raise flop with.

Also, anyone want to fold the flop?

~150 - 180,
hes always betting a 7 on the turn, with your image I would bet fairly big to max value from weaker Kx and KJ which I dont think he jams on rivers/raised Jx "for information" as you stated , will he bet missed FDs on river?

Flop min raise from this guy is scary but I can't for the life of me figure out what he does it with after the second 7 hits the turn. I like betting the turn to get some value from the couple of FDs he can have as well as lesser Kings. As played, I'd probably bet something like $175 on the river.

yeah I had no idea what his range was on turn/river either.

On flop I really thought about folding but I was pretty sure he would tell the story on the turn. If he bombed the turn for $100+ I was snap-folding.

You don't expect nits to raise like K9 on the flop but it could be one of those, "I'll raise to see where he's at." Players like this are fully capable of checking boats/quads on the turn as well.

"cool story" below:

I felt he was really weak so I bet $90. Based on responses, it may have been too small. I also considered check/calling any bet but didn't think he would shove a draw. I'm not sure he calls a bigger bet with anything other than KJ+.

He took a while to do anything. Finally, he actually touches the two 7s on the board and says, "If it weren't for these, I'd come over the top."

After about two more minutes of silence, I said, "What do you have, jacks full? It's no good."

He folded and said he missed, I said I had Aces. I have no idea what the thing about the 7s was all about, maybe he thought he could represent a straight but was worried I had a boat. As if I would fold set? More random weird live lols.
