i was just messing about and had sat down just to see what omaha was like as a cash game ,for future reference ,as a newbie to cash games !!when this cropped up (also this is my very first post of a hand analysys so
be gentle)
2/4c omaha pot limit
hero 9d,6d,5c,9c,

bb posts/folds
utg folds
utg+1 calls 4c
mp raises to 8c
button (hero)calls
SB villain calls pot 36c

flop 3h,4c,ad
SB villain check
utg+1 check
mp1 check
button hero check

turn 9s
sb villain checks /raises pot 90c
utg+1 checks/fold
mp1checks/fold
button hero bets 1/2 pot 18c/calls 90

river 9h
sb villain bets $2.16
hero calls allin $3.26 villain holds 5s,7s,2d,as,

hero takes pots quad 9s

my thoughts on the turn were ,with my trip 9s i had 10 outs , now bearing in mind this was my first seat at a omaha pl ring game ,the limits were low and it was late in the day i was tired etc ..
was it a bad call by me on the turn(calling villains raise)
if anyone can just break down how a GOOD player would have approached this hand (or if he would have been involved in the first place and just mucked it PF)
any answers would be appreciated as i understand that microstakes games like this wont interest higher limits players just hoped someone might give me something to think about
i hope my first hand analysys post isnt too difficult to read

It took me a long time before I started making money at omaha. Believe me when I say I lost soooo much in the start. Once you master it its alot easier to cash than in hold em. But thats just my point of view. There is so many more donks who are looking to suck out

At the stakes you are playing,I would put villian on a pair of aces (poss 2 pr) and a straight draw.I have seen this regularly at low stakes omaha and would have called or re raised with my trips on the turn.It helps if you are properly bankrolled and the $4 or so isnt that important if your wrong.GL in the future
