This is basically never a bluff.

I would raise .10 PF min. Pots grow exponentially so getting that extra money in on the flop is best. If you think they'll call .12 or .14 even better. Same with the flop. Its a good flop so bet more for value like .14.

But ya, this is pretty much always a J by the way the hand played out. He's not worried about anything on this board to make this bet. If not then you have a good note on the guy amirite?

I guess you can see it as buying $0.40 cent information. But I think villain is likely to have a Jack and sadly maybe even the Ace. But getting 3 to 1 on the river I don't know that I would lay it down. I certainly wouldn't raise though LOL.

maybe even the Ace
What hand besides A7 & AJ does our opponent get to the river with that has an ace in it? The ace is an almost totally irrelevant card.

It is entirely possible that villain called you all the way with nothing and he hit the ace on the river! With two diamonds on the board if he has a Jack, he would've raised the turn for value and to protect his hand. It is not uncommon in micro (especially 2NL) to see someone calling all the way just to hit top pair. I would be more inclined to fold, but paying 40c for information in this spot may be worthwhile in the long run.

You're right. KJo. Had me from the flop. I was pretty sure the A was irrelevant. River bet seemed strange because if that was me how many hands call you that you can still beat? KK & QQ. Now deeper thinking would have led me to realize what hands would make a bet that didn't believe I had the A or didn't care AA,AJ,KJ,QJ, JT, 77 but unfortunately I didn't think it through. I still am trying to make these decisions more quickly. Besides at 2NL you see so many nonsensical river bluffs that I basically decided to pay him off to see what he had for future reference.
