What did you hope to accomplish by raising to .06 with 4 limpers preflop?

I assume your question is about calling the turn bet because after you call the turn folding the river would be criminal.

Any stats reads on villain?

Sorry no stat reads. Do not have a hud yet.

The table was playing fairly loose and folding to just about any bet above .02. I intended to pick up only 1 caller on my .06 and then buy the flop if he missed it.

My mistake I see is calling his turn after I check simply for information. Unfortunately I did not(*edit) follow the same line of reasoning.

I guess my questions are...
Was the bet amount on the turn an obvious indicator of something better than top pair?

Is .06 too low of a bet to appear aggressive?

You don't have to have a HUD to have a read. If you've seen him SD less than TPTK in a big pot that's something. If you have nothing that's fine but I didn't want to make it seem like a HUD or stats was mandatory.

Anyway, if you really wanted to thin the herd here you should probably be making it something like .14 - .18 preflop. My feeling is though that with a weakish Ace OOP you'll be better off just checking your option and seeing a flop. The pot will remain small that way and A9o rarely ever wants to play a big pot unless you know villain is bad enough to play big pots with worse.

As played the flop bet is fine but I'd actually prefer bet/folding or check/folding the turn a lot more than check/calling a PSB. What range of hands do you think a random 2nl player has when he calls your cbet and then pots the turn on that board?

I've found out quick that you get alot more info by betting than checking. I'm with WV though. After the turn, river is a definitely no-fold situation.
