Do you know anything about the SB?

I'd actually rather bet the turn here to try to get some value from FD/SD. As played I think you can def. get some value with a river bet.

No I didn't really know much about the SB. He just got to the table. My thinking on checking the turn was that the villain could be trapping but that could be the wrong way to think.

If he were trapping why would he check twice and not ch/raise the flop? I mean it's possible but very unlikely. It's much more likely that he has some type of weak made hand or draw and that he'll be willing to call another bet on the turn with all of his draws (and some of his made hands that you beat as well). If the draws miss he won't call on the river so you want to get some value from his draws while you can on the turn.

Even if he is trapping you're going to fold to a raise on either the turn or river so it's not like he'll be putting you to a tough decision.

I would bet/fold the turn here you could be calling with draws and maybe things like A high if raised you can easily fold.
