No reads on villain as he was new to the table. I shouldn't be folding the river here right? How does the rest of the hand look? Should I have given up on the turn?

How can you fold?:) Pot is way too big. I might call it even if I dont have that diamond. It would be just for the interest. Calling 100%. I may have played it a little different. Betting a little less on the flop(but its definately okay) and betting 2/3 on the turn. Check calling river is the only option. But the way you played it makes sense. Never folding :)

odds are too good to pass up a call on the river. A call here is what I would do.

I would have bet smaller on the flop. Half pot the entire way.

Villain seems to be betting for value on river, so he might have a higher spade than you. But I still believe a call is correct here.

Just my $0.02

7 1/2 to 1?!?!

I just can't fold that on this board. It's almost like that river "value bet" is so obvious he's looking for a fold and not really trying to get value. Gotta take a shot for that amount and 3 outs against you.

If nothing I call just to get valuable info on what he has and how he played it.

I see those baby bets all the time at 2NL. It's a "please call me" bet from a baby flush.

Without a diamond I'd consider letting the hand go. With a J-high flush I actually raise here -- 90% of the time he has like 8d and is begging you to call/raise his "value bet (lol)."

I dont think its good raising river here. He definately isnt going to call with 10 high flush or lower. I know it looks like stealing the pot but I dont feel that raise.

Dude, that's 4NL. These muppets are ecstatic to see ANY flush and will call it off. We're not stealing shit here, we're putting money in good.

I mean I could see value in just calling (maybe. Depends on reads), but I'm not folding this in a billion years.

I just woke up and feel fresh and just noticed that hes less than 50bb's. So your comment makes sense. Got to be more aware.

I shove the river for value. 56, 67, A6 88-TT.

Check folding to this sizing is burning money. All the hands above bar A6 are capable of value betting to this size.
