Why the loss of aggression on the flop and beyond when you put out a strong preflop raise? Bet .40-.45 on the flop (fold to a reraise if he does it), and shove on the turn after your card hits.

The way you played the villian is probably thinking you have a failed AK hand against his pocket pair, and your .37 flop bet looked weak compared to the pot size and your preflop raise. Shoving on the river would have some excellent chances for a payoff.

My flop bet was 3/4 of the pot, which is enough to make anyone chasing a draw do so unprofitably. I thought it was a pretty strong bet and made it look like I was protecting an overpair. Since he flatted a 3bet OOP and then checked the flop, I was hoping for a fold here. Now he could have checked the flop with AA KK QQ JJ AK AQ AJ, but when he checked the turn I discounted him having AA KK QQ JJ as I would expect those hands to bet for value so all I could really put him on was AK AQ AJ. I checked back the turn because I now had TPTK that had decent showdown value vs. AJ. If I shove on the river the only hand that calls me would be what???

Aggression? Also why did you start the hand with less than 100bb?

VPIP 15.38
PFR 12.09
Agg factor 2.8
Afq 63.64

I turned off the auto top up because I was playing too aggressively. I would end a session and find that I had bled a lot of chips. Even though I am sacrificing some value I feel that at this point in my development I want to really know where I am in a session more than extract an extra few BB of value. If my stack starts to dwindle I am forced to think whether I am not playing well, just suffering from some variance or maybe need to get off that particular table.

When you bluffed the flop, you should have thought you were in heaven when the turn made you tptk. Bet again. This helps your line when your shooting two streets as a bluff when a good bluff turn card comes and you still miss.

But as played, when villain chs turn then bets river he usually has it. But villain should have checked the river to allow you to bet at it bluff or not then raise you. That way he gets the extra bet and with you having 3 q it's hard to get away from that when Halve your stack is in the middle.

I like your reasoning. The message that my poker mind has been receiving over and over lately is; BET THE TURN!!! and when in doubt; BET THE TURN!!!! and if you are not sure BET THE TURN!!!

He had AcJc.

Remember had the turn been let's say a 2c it would have been a good tome to just give up. Also when bluffing the turn it's a bad spot to continue when the board pairs as villain liked his hand on the flop enough to continue so why would it change now when nothing really has.

Just a little advice to get you thinking.

As the hand played out you can see that he tried to cr turn but u infact stopped him from doing so. If he had would you have then folded?

Would I fold to a c/r with one pair on a flush board? probably.
