Pretty nice board to bet with just about anything at all... QQ included. Eye his aggression stats, Fcbet, etc in spots like this. He seems passive. Anyway you should bet the turn when the flop checks through. A good rule of thumb at 4NL is to try and get stacks in when you flop sets.

On a dry board it is a good idea to slow play a set and not bet out. It gives your opponent to bluff or bet their weaker hands so that you can get more money out of them. If you bet and they don't have a strong hand they are going to fold most of the time anyways.

I probably just check this flop through, hope he catches up and lead turn regardless.

It is OK to slowplay the flop but I would bet the turn.

The CO looks passive so I wouldn't mind betting this flop but I'm fine with checking as well. I'm definitely betting the turn after they check back and I would personally bet the river slight bigger as well.

Most of the training I had was to bet out the flop, between 1/2 and 2/3. If he hit tp?k, then many times he will bet. Some will call with 2nd pair.

I get nailed when i get c/r on the turn. I am learning to let the hand go as this has been a 9 out of 10 times flopped set I was floated on and they then are going for the kill. As I am want to do now hehehe

As CO is a passive player, maybe you shall just bet and hope he is drawing straight or just hit something.

def bet flop prob 1/2p , he's going to cont with so much of his range , bet turn also man, he's most def a fish and they hate folding so get as much value as you can.

if you would have bet flop and turn: bet 4bb otf, villain calls turn pot = 17.5bb,
bet 9bb OTT, co calls 9bb's , river pot = 35.5bb's, at which point co only has 15bb's left and its an easy shove for the rest of his stack..

value bet, value bet, value bet

value bet, value bet, value bet

How so? The only hands he'll continue with are Qx (unlikely) and J10, or a set.

EDIT: Never mind villains a fish, go to value town.

Except that it looks pretty suspicious. I guess it depends on the stake level. If this was maybe 50nl+, then just bet. Below that, slowplay sometimes is fine. It's super dry. The only problem is if he won't bet a K or A on the flop when you check, it's unlikely you'll get any action, so I'd just be the turn small.

I like a check here because of the players aggression let the donkey do the pulling on a board where you for sure have the nuts. I also like a check cause if he has second pair or third pair it gives a chance for the board to pair and if he hits trips more likely you will get a big pot instead of a small one. If he's on a pure bluff then he obviously can't call so let him bet and just keep check calling or check call then check raise turn. So this way you will keep in all of his pure bluffs and get value from all his marginal hands like second and third pair. :)

I would test his hand by betting on the turn.

If he has decent hand, he would continue. If not, cant do anything about it.

If you regularly CBet then I would suggest to do it here too. Checking this board that is absolutely perfect to CBet 100% of your range on just looks strong.
