I'm not as interested in hearing about how bad the preflop call was (though that is welcome too), because believe me I am aware of it. It was after this hand that I decided to call it quits tonight. Was so card dead that I felt like playing this hand was a good idea... More interested in hearing about post flop lines with preflop as played.

It looks mostly ok, get into your thought process for floating here. I sort of hate betting this particular river since he's repping showdown value here and the Q doesn't change much.

*I fold or 3bet pre. A6o is a little to weak for my liking.
*I don't float the flop. The board is a little too drawy and villain is an unknown I fear we'll face too many double barrels from draws or turned draws.
*I check back the river I can't see kings folding and villain can easily have a queen which c-bets flop then rightly check/calls the turn. Anything weaker will have likely folded the turn (weak value/air) or double barreled the turn (draws).

Just to clarify I believe pre and the flop are minor mistakes at worst. Betting the river would be a big mistake.

Definitely wasn't in my best frame of mind, but I'll try to revisit some of my thought process:

Preflop my expectation is that he is trying to steal my blind. In retrospect I should have 3bet rather than call since A6 really isn't going to play well post. But I had position which is the only reason I even considered calling - had he been on the button this is more of an insta-fold (or a more obvious one for me).

On the flop I decided to float because I expected a continuation bet, regardless of his holdings. I figured I could represent top pair by flatting his bet and then take the pot on the turn.

When he checked the turn I fired a bet. I was definitely surprised by his call, and I'm not really sure what possessed me to fire again on the river. I guess I felt like he was making a crying call with nothing on the turn... or I was just making a desperation bluff.

Another question I had was this: at any point in this hand, particularly after my turn bet, does he believe that I'm holding a king in my hand?? I don't really know if I repped it well at all. Looking back at the hand, it kind of seems like my bet on the turn is repping a queen more than a king, but idk.

It's not your blind. People get so defensive over "their" blinds, but really once that blind is on the table it is not yours at all.

Im not saying we shouldnt try and defend "our" blinds at all but if you just fold preflop you havent lost anything whatsoever. Im fine with 3betting it from time to time or even calling if we knew we could float him, i dont even mind the fact you called one and then bet the turn. Its clear you were tilting on the river though.

Remember we're meant to lose money from the blinds, folding = 0 EV, we can find better spots to call, we can steal blinds more from later positions. Unless you know how the guy plays in these spots just fold the A6o.

You misunderstood me. I wasn't implying ownership of the blind once it's in the pot, simply that I was the one who put it in. It was a point of clarity I guess, though I suppose that part was obvious.

Anyway, all the other stuff makes sense - thanks for all the feedback guys. This is moooostly conclusions I can reach on my own, but it's extremely helpful to have the thoughts of more experienced players, and I'm definitely not always able to fully think out my actions with the 30 second time limit (or whatever it is).
