What should the hero did here?
I have a feeling that maybe I should of raised pre-flop instead of checking as well. Is that correct?

You're at the microstakes. Don't slowplay, value bet. People here make bad calls often, but good raises only rarely.
Pop it to ~0.14 pre then b/b/b.
As played river is an easy fold.

Ok, question, why didn't you raise pre? I really want to understand the reasoning for your choice preflop?

Now are there times in which I would choose to limp in with a big pair, but than again I would have to be about 95% sure someone behind me would act out of line thus increasing my chances for a big pot...This case was certainly not one of those times...

As played by river I would seriously have to fold

Honesty I probably wasn't paying attention. I have to stop playing when I get tired. But yeah I 100% agree. I need to raise these hands in.

Now that I have some responses I will post the results.
They had Q6 of hearts and had a flush. I called there and regret it a lot.

what were you doing?

pf you checked, shouldve raised
flop you checked, shouldve bet
turn you check-raised, shoudve bet and if he reraise you shove.
river you bet, shouldve check folded.

you did all wrong, but maybe you saved money not shoving the turn after all, the guy probably had a hand like KJ of hearts or Q9 of hearts and wouldnt lay it down and rivered you.anyways.
