Playing against SS can be difficult. What do you do in situations like this? About 20 hands into my session at this table. Villain had been there for around 15 of them. He had just called off half his stack and folded on a river bet a couple of hands before. Only info I have on him. Thanks

SS players who play short because they know what they're doing don't do this. They play aggressive and try to get their stack in early.

This is just someone who's playing short because they are afraid to lose. I'd be in with any big Ace or pair plus some other big cards.

if we flat do we fold to a shove from the BB? Or can we just 3-bet shove ourselves?

One of the questions that I was wondering too. Didn't know if it's better to raise to be 1 on 1 or just call and see what happens.

I think in this situation you should DEFINETLY FOLD 100% of the time, villian obviously has 6/8 of clubs and is gonna flop a strait flush on you 97% of the time IMO.

You need to shove to get heads up. You have the 5th best starting hand in NLHE. If SB calls he is all in so he cannot bluff you.

im fine w/ just calling to induce BB to jam with worse hands/keep him in with worse Ax's etc.

if u dont like variance then just jamming over is fine too

Highly doubt that anyone at 2nl would think to 3 bet shove light just because OP called a short stack.

As played snap call and FWIW I'm snap calling even if he had 100bbs
