Mostly curious if people would have tripled-barreled here. I'm pretty comfortable with the bet-bet on the flop and turn, but hesitated at the river. Eventually decided to check it back because I felt that after he calls the turn, my hand has become more of a SDV hand, rather than a pure value hand. I don't think better is folding, and it's pretty hard to envision worse continuing.

I think vs an unknown just check back river, but if this was what we thought a good reg then maybe can go for a small thin value bet on the river and get calls from worse pp's since fd's missed and the J is a good card to barrel

No reason to think he's a good reg, since I had only played 3 hands against him at this point. In fact decent assumption is that he's NOT a decent reg, since, what are the odds of that for an unknown? :D

Right but I was just giving a hypothetical situation even though nobody at 4nl will be a real good reg

Yeah I gotcha. There are a few I've run into who seem very solid, though I don't have enough hands against them to know if they are profitable over time or partially on heaters, but whatever.

Finally regained a little confidence in my own abilities, sticking to ABC poker, so hopefully I'll be able to label myself a "solid reg" soon! ;)
