$4 NL HE Full Ring: $ NL HE : .01/.02 cash did i overplay these As?

New real money player here. I try to play TAG. MP1 is also a TAG. I put him on AK or Js or better. The limpers are real LAGs, been playin every pot pretty much. So did i overplay my hand? I understand i was on the button and maybe could have let MP1 see a flop cause i had position but wanted to avoid the LAGs from callin and gettin lucky as has happened so many times before.

Game: No Limit Hold'em
Structure: Cash Game
Stakes: $0.01/$0.02
Players: 9
Hand History:

SB: $1.06 (53 bb)
BB: $5.73 (286.5 bb)
UTG: $4.99 (249.5 bb)
UTG+1: $0.92 (46 bb)
MP1: $3.37 (168.5 bb)
MP2: $1.97 (98.5 bb)
MP3: $2.04 (102 bb)
CO: $0.58 (29 bb)
Hero (BTN): $2.04 (102 bb)

Pre-Flop: Hero is BTN with A A
UTG calls $0.02, UTG+1 calls $0.02, MP1 raises to $0.10, 3 folds, Hero raises to $0.45, 5 folds

Results: $0.27 pot
Final Board:
Hero mucked A A (a pair of Aces) and won $0.27 ($0.17 net)

You can't flat behind there, AA does not like multiway pots, if you call MP the limpers will also call.

Perfect, you cannot catch a taker every time.

Well played.

Minraise gives odds to callers. Your raise is fine and correct.

am I wrong in thinking the reraise is too high at 45c, and 30c would be better? That's my route in this position.....

gotta be more than 30 with the limpers, 45 is a tad high but not unreasonable

This is 2NL...you fundamentally cannot over-raise. You will get called by virtually anything. 2NL is about waiting for a hand and jamming. You don't to be a skilled fisherman...just place hook in water, reel, repeat.

haha. ya ive noticed that. people will play anything suited, even the J4's and the 93's as long as its suited. the problem with this is when i raise in position with 10's and the idiots call i cant put them on anything cause they call with anything and push with top pair no kicker. how do you combat these type of players?

Keep playing TAG ABC poker. If a passive player plays back at you, believe them.
