I'd raise this pre unless one of the limpers is crazy aggressive postflop.

As played, bet the flop. People give up in limped pots pretty easily.

As played bet the flop, if another spade falls you won't get paid off for your hand...

Why wouldn't he, what if one of the other guys has Q high flush draw?

Bet. We can get most pp to fold and we also have position so we can x the turn and get a free river if you like or bet again because that looks so strong and fold out more ppl.

lean towards aggression if you dont know what to do. it seems to be the better way to play

Or one of the many gutshots.... There is a lot of value in making sure worse draws stick around.

Hadn't thought of it like that... I think sometimes I'm a little too protective of my hand...

Probably because I play mostly live turbo STT...

Thanks for the input though - I'll try and build it into my game. I suppose the prerequisite to this kind of play is that we're relatively deep?

I don't really understand what your asking, but if we bet the flop we can barrel turn/river and also have fold equity by betting. Even if we were 30-40BB's deep we should be betting this flop though as it's a limped pot that's been checked around.

Thanks for the input - again I'm finding the lines between tournament play and cash play blurry - I forget you can just reload in a cash game if you get beat...

I'm signing out of this thread before I sound any more amateurish... but thanks for the input it helps me a lot.
