Villain in this hand is 23/12/2 over 248

I fire a cbet on the flop with tptk board is gross but still worth betting right? Turn I keep it up planning to bet fold to a raise. I don't get raised and the river gives me 2 pair. What is the proper play here? Check/call,check/fold, bet/fold? Is my turn bet ok?

I hate this kind of development and it happens to me all the freaking time :(

Flop bet has some fold equity if he is still drawing, size can be 0.30 or so.

River bet I think has little purpose here, if he has air he folds, if he has a set/flush/straight he calls.

If you check he bets, what you do depends on size of bet and your assessment if he can bluff here.

I bet/fold for about 0.92. There are tons of 2 pair combos villain can't fold, the A:diamond: is in his range. Plus it's 5NL and villain sucks.

I wound up betting 2/3rds on the river and got min raised. Right then I knew I made a mistake and followed it up with another by calling the min raise. I really need to learn to slow down and get to showdown cheap when I still have showdown value. Gotta read more about pot control I think.

How big of a bet would you call on the river? Guessing anything more than half pot is a fold?
