Flop: ($0.19) 7 :spade: 6 :diamond: T :diamond: (2 players)
Hero bets $0.12, BTN raises to $0.24,

I can never figure out these min raises at 2nl. Without reads should I just assume he has flopped a straight here(I know I have blockers for 89) and fold, move on to the next hand?

Whats my move here? I hate folding here but....????

Without reads you ought to fold. He probably does not have the straight but he could very easily have a pair of tens, two overcards and a flush draw, a combo draw, a set, an overpair. All of this stuff makes it so that you dont really want to have to face that level of aggression readless to the river.

If this were at 50nl would you play it differently? I always hear people say they dont know what to do at the low stakes, so how would this play differently against a readless opponent at higher stakes?

ya, IDK about higher stakes cause I've only played as high as 5nl. I just assume the worst of the worst are down here. So many plays that make no sense at all. I do think that this raise is retarded for almost any hand he has. Thats why Im tryin to figure out what it means.

Also, is my c bet to small? I actually liked the flop until I got min raised.

your cbet is ok in size. A smaller cbet needs to work less often to be profitable.

The problem is the board is pretty coordinated, so you will almost never know where you are during the rest of the hand. I mean there are not really any "good cards" to come for you, an 8 doesn't really help. A 9 gives you a potentially worse straight than theirs, a diamond is not super good either.

Cbet is fine, folding is fine too. Checking behind would also be okay since you cant really stand much of a raise but could call a bet on the turn.
