re: Poker & $4 NLHE Full Ring: JJ 3bets from SB, flops OESD, scare on turn
I don't like your bet size on the flop, a pot-sized bet here meant that the villain has already put in 60c to call, which means he's nearly pot committed.
And what's with that bet on the turn? The pot bet on the flop and weakish bets (1/3 of the pot) just screams weakness. You could argue that you are prepared to fold to a turn raise, but you will have already lost 40% of your stack by doing so, not a very good play.
If I were you I would have probably betted less on the flop. Something like 25c would do, this way neither you or him have committed on the flop and you can escape from the hand without damaging yourself too much. Big hands, big pots. Small hand, small pots ftw.
