$4 NL HE Full Ring: Jacks at 2nl

Here's a hand where I got dealt pocket jacks in the BB. First, my reads:
UTG- doesn't matter because he got out of the hand
MP- LAG, but sort of solid(for 2nl)
CO- LAG but would always try to steal.

So first I'm dealt jacks in the BB. awesome! UTG raises and then i think i can reraise but then the MP does that for me. Then the CO raises again! SB calls. I really wanted to either lay down my jacks or reraise all in since i knew that either UTG or the MP would raise again.

I decided to call and wait to see how big the next person's raise was which was just enough to put the CO all in. For some reason, I didn't give the CO much credit for his hand because of the way he'd been playing so the only one i was really worried about was the guy in MP. I knew i was probably dealing with AA/KK/QQ. I decided to just call and see a flop so atleast i'd still be left with some money incase nothing hit.

UTG with $7.72
MP with $2.73
CO with $1.00
BTN with $8.26
SB with $3.74
BB with $2.48

Blinds:
$0.00/$0.00
Site: Pokerstars
Dealt to BB:J♥ J♣
Sklansky group 1
Preflop:
UTG raises $0.08 to $0.10
MP raises $0.08 to $0.18
CO raises $0.08 to $0.26
1 players fold.
SB calls [$0.25]
Hero calls [$0.24]
1 players fold.
MP raises $0.74 to $1
CO calls [$0.73] [ all-in ]
1 players fold.
Hero
???

I know i should have layed them down but when i was about to i just kept thinking of this thread where i asked if i should have held onto AK despite all the raising(totally different situation but the main point was that I should have held onto AK instead of folding):
https://www.cardschat.com/forum/cash-game-hand-analysis-50/4-nl-he-full-ring-am-154404/

A lot of people said at 2nl, people are going to be playing junk cards like they're strong so i shouldn't be so worried/easy to fold.

Comment please, i don't care if you have negative things to say about it i'm glad to hear all opinions

This is a tough situation because you are coinflipping at best and with that much people in the pot, you could easily be beat preflop, or you could be outdrawn.
Honestly, I call but fold to see the flop but fold to the raise of the MP.

Personally is it just a preflop fold or a shove as any raise is pot commiting. You will be out of position the whole hand and still have players to act after you preflop due to the min raising. Just fold and let them battle it out. If you had KK I shove possibly even QQ or AK; if I thought they would stack AQ or JJ's.

Yes micro players suck but you aren't playing 1 micro player in this hand your are potentially against 3 since you don't know what the action is going to be behind you. JJ don't stand up too well when all the money goes in against 3 other players hands that they are willing to stack preflop.

I agree with what's been posted. It sucks, especially at 2NL, to have to fold Jacks. But it looks like its the best option here.

FWIW I'm probably not calling the first time around either after the min 4 bet

at 2NL any min raise just screams strength because most people playing at that level are just too scared to lose there action but want more money in the pot. unless ur opponents overate 99 and TT then u should fold ur JJ as ur a best 50/50 because as crazy and loose as some donks play, they still get dealt AA and KK so u shouldn't always underestimate ur opponents hand strength because of there donkish plays.

no, it definitely does not. I've seen many people min raise with rags and junk like Q7o

Hey Gomez,

Tough spot, especially for someone outside that limit to comment on. I still think the right move is to fold though for the reasons stated. This might be an opportunity for you to plug some hands into pokerstove to support what people said here.

I don't remember the post you are referring to, but going all in with AK is very different that going all in with jacks. Consider your opponents might be going all in with: AQ+ and JJ+ (again, I don't know the ranges in this limit). AK is very strong against the AQ, JJ, and QQ. Now look at how JJ stacks up against those hands... not so hot:)
