Wow this is pretty badly played.

As a rule, against a FD/SD board you need to pot to charge the draw.

This guy is firing what looks like blocking bets which allow him to draw cheaply and stack you if he hits and you keep calling, so raise them up to pot size.

Stop limping pre with aces dude. Raise that shit up, who cares if you only take down the blinds. As played you need to raise the flop and turn. Not just a min raise either.

Well, I have never limp-reraised and these guys were totally aggro pre-flop, so I thought I'd give it a go. Should have raised more though..
If this was a full table, I would have 4X'd or 3B if UTG raised. So that was just me trying something different from my usual "style".
Should have been betting out like crazy I now realize.
Thanks guys!

BTW, what AF should I be shooting for anyhow?

2.0 - 4.0, aim for the high end, however it depends on the villains, if they are fish that will call down any junk then just call and try to hit you're draws cheaply. Also SB is a weak short stack player, raise flop, raise turn, raise river. Easy game.

dont worry about AF. Dont think about AF. Think about what spots are good to raise and not raise, call and not call, fold, etc.

Af is stupid and completely misunderstood and theres many other better stats to look at than that. For ex. xr flop, fold to cb, call cb, raise cb. raise turn etc.

dont try something new unless its vs your best friend and you know each others games like your own. Online play 100% standard especially at micros

bet bet bet. On that board he could have a possible FD or SD. Even if the board was dry like 2T6r, you can't just call call raise those small bets. Value bet BIG on that board!! You will see how many calls you will attract. oh and raise 3x, 4x preflop

you need be more aggressive with AA, when the SB did bet on the flop, was a perfect moment to re-raise all in :)

Barring any special special reads for example a nutjob who shoves ATC preflop or raise with lolsize every hand, limping AA is a silly.

Why? if they are agrofish, they will call your AA anyway even if you raise, if they won't, they won't. better yet if they decide to minraise you, get more money in the pot.

last thing you need is a full ring of a limpers and you'll be sitting there with your AA and go like  and likely to be stacked off by the likes of either a zoo of cards consisting of 84o, 92o, baby pairs, and my favourite, 32o

I think that would lose you some value against fishes with one extra neuron that tells them to not call all in with junk. You want these to call with marginal hands and hit the board enough to call an all in.

His raise size is fine really, given the weird effective stack sizes. At which point he GII irregardless as no hand would have the right odds to outflop AA even with the small raise.

Oh, to the OP, good job not reraising the river.
