Why check the flop? Now the flop chk and flat call of the small bet on the turn makes you all seem weak, opening the door for a steal. As played I would just call the turn and then reevaluate on the river.

If you had bet the flop and got raised then you can be more sure btn has the goods. Now you dunno whether he's just stealing or if he has a legit hand.

I think BTN would have bet the flop if he had a hand. I mean unless he's stupid, even if flopped the nut str, on a wet high card board like that he's gotta be betting for value since chances are the flop hit at least one of you.

Bet the flop. Yes, it's pretty wet and there are two live opponents. But it's not like you have to be behind, and if you're not, the turn is much more likely to help one of them than you. Plus if you're behind, better to try to find out early.

Thanks for the advice both. I know this will sound silly but sometimes I get nervous about leading out so many times. I see that I should do it because its value.

It's NL4. In general, KISS, which includes betting when you're likely to have the best hand. Make exceptions only when you have good reason to. Being afraid isn't nearly enough.

Yeah, you have to do the continuation bet here. Twofold here- semibluffing and value betting.
Youre ahead on the flop and so you must have to bet and not give them free card.

Bet, bet and then check maybe depending on your opponents. People can call with naked tens here without a diamond or a pair, so sometimes you will be safe on the river. If you get raised, then you know you are beat a lot of the time. QTo has approximately a 1 in 3 chance of beating you and so you want to protect your hand against flush and straight draws. Even if a King came on the turn, you can't feel too comfortable. After all, someone could have two pair and if a Nine or Diamond (except the Ace and Queen of Diamond) comes, we could be well beat here.

Bet the flop. By not betting the flop, and now just calling the weak turn bet, you open yourself up to being bluffed or have worse hands think they are raising for value. Now you're going to need to call and check / call river w/o a real good reason for doing so other than you opened up your opponents bluffing range w/o really knowing their bluffing tendencies or aggression.

Theres 2 ways to play this I believe.

Continuation bet 2/3 of the pot and hopefully we end the pot...

But facing 2 or more players on a wet board your often just wasting money. I believe pot control and check/calling and winning a small pot which wont be bad if the 2 stay in the hand and cheaper for you to play. If we are facing weak players this is great play cuz you'll get paid with someone having a lower kicker and medium pair or any PP.

And if someone gives a dearer price... if our hand hasn't improved by turn or river we simply get out. we are oop and it's going to be bumpy so why we want to bet bigger not knowing where we are? ... Theres better spots to go for and this aint great :)

Most times at these stakes people will call, and we are in an ugly spot and we don't bluff after the flop if we get resistance because we will go busto
