Hero?

Just wondering how you guys would extract maximum value here? I don't have very many reads on this player so I'm not sure what kind of line he would take with a flush draw, but I feel if I call here I am pretty much giving him a free card... but if I raise here and he folds then I am losing a lot of value I could have gotten by just calling.

Thoughts?

Raise raise raise raise here, who cares if he folds. What if you call and the flush completes? Even if he does not have the flush you are not getting any action, you must bet here, I'd bet 2/3rds pot atleast.

I reccomend that you use a hand history converter, such as the https://www.cardschat.com/hand/ , this will mean that you are more likely to get replys and comments that you are looking for!!
Regarding the hand, This seems like a one of two lines. Either he is trying to induce action and force a raise from you as you may percieve his min bet to be weak. However i see this unlikely because you have such a high cbet percentage that this line would not be as +EV as a c/c c/r would be. Therefore it seems much more likely to be a move uasually made at lower stakes where they are trying to see the turn as cheap as possible as they are drawing. Just try and extract value while you have the bests hand, rasie to .40

Surely he is drawing but I dont believe for a flush but rather wants his straight.

Raise an amount that sure he'll call.

Raise. If his .04 is a blocking bet, he's most likely to have a flush draw, and probably more likely to call a raise now than if you call and try to extract value on the turn. That's assuming he doesn't make his flush on the turn. If he does, it's obviously bad for you.

The fact he's not playing a full stack suggests he's not a good player, so you can at least consider a pretty sizable raise, one that gives him the chance to make a call that's mathematically worse than if you raise less.
