I don't have pokertracker, so no info on vilain, beside maybe the fact that vilain is definatly not a fish, probably around 20%

Against a no bluff/ no draw / no 2pair range of KK+,JJ-99,AKs,AKo you have 42% equity. If he only has KK+/AK you still have 32%. If he only ever has exactly KK/AK you have 21%.

With all that money in the pot, you need to call .73, so you have to be good 17% of the time. Basically the only time you should ever fold here is if he shows you AKhh. Against everything else you're getting odds to call.

I did both that.

10 on the river.

He had AK hh

I was just wondering if my play was good. Thx.

Do you have a fast math formula to calculate equity without using the browser tool?

Well the 4/2 rule works when you think you're drawing (multiply your outs by 4 if you're going to see 2 streets and by 2 if only 1). So here if you think you're behind you have 10 likely outs to a boat/quads (1 Queen, and 3 9s, 10s, Js) or 20%. Since you'll be getting in good here against smaller sets occasionally you're equity against his range is going to be higher that 20%.

After that just compare you pot odds to your equity. Equity > pot odds call. Equity < pot odds fold.

There is no way you can ever fold this hand and you shouldn't even really think about it.

Right, I knew that formula, but I mean, your comparing equity to a range, oh I guess you just remove the cards that make his range, right?

Ya, I dont know if I like calling a 3 bet OOP with QQ.

If you're gonna donk bet this then Id make it at least a PSB but Id deff go for the CRAI here.

Also, you dont need PT to have reads on players. There are basically 4 main types of players.

Tight aggressive. TAG
Loose aggressive. LAG
Tight passive. Weak tight
Loose passive. Calling station

So based on the above if you are getting 4 to 1 or better call and you are getting worse than 4 to 1 fold??
