Villain is playing 17/8/3 over 700 hands, donk bet 53%(ridiculous, something like 19/38)

Flop bottom 2 and here he comes firing the donk bet. I know people really don't **** around on these kinda boards but I figured with a donk bet % so damn high that a raise was in order. I didn't wanna make it too big though incase he came back over the top. Looking back I don't know what worse calls though and don't know if I shoulda just called behind and seen what happened on the turn? What do you think? My line alright?

leads could mean a lot of things. I find that they lean toward big draws like flush draws etc more often than made hands. I assume they want to pay their own price rather than x and have the hero bet bigger.

one tip is always take a note if you see showdown on a lead bet.

on this hand though i like the raise as there are a lot of draws but when he minreraises you with his stats (weaktight) im very scared. I would fold as well. I expect to see 2pr+ here just about every time and you have the worst 2pr.

I would make the raise bigger though as im expecting a call a lot more than a reraise.

Yeah the 3bet seemed strong and I didn't think he was playing around. Looking back at his showdown hands in PT3 it seems he likes to play big pair slow preflop. JT and AQ type hands are in his blind complete range. I figured with the min raise I could find out what I needed to know right then and there but don't know if just calling the flop would be better and seeing what he did on the turn. I would have gotten the same information without the added cost. If he bets again I fold. Hmmmmmm

I think this is good.
Raising here under normal circumstances wouldn't be good but villain superhigh donkbet makes me like it.

Our sizing allows ax and some pairs+gutshots to continue, taxes flush draws and lets us know if we've run in to JT as I highly doubt this villain 3bets his flush draws.
