SB checks, Hero bets 4.5 BB, SB calls 4.5 BB

Turn: (18 BB, 2 players) 6<font color='black'>♣</font>
SB checks, Hero checks

River: (18 BB, 2 players) T<font color='black'>♣</font>
SB bets 13.5 BB, Hero calls 13.5 BB

LOL, I knew something wasn't right, but I thought I should follow my plan that I had by checkin the turn... if I bet the turn I figured worse hands would fold, better would call, yadda yaddaa.

The :10c4: was actuaslly the only card I would be scared of... flushes and 2 pairs etc.

could I have folded the river? I was thinking in my head... damn that as a good bet size.

You may still bet the turn, as you just have TPTK but not far ahead/far behind circumstance. So your bet may let KT,QT, JT or some TPWK go so your made hand can be protected. And you may also get some value from weak A or some flush draws here. So just bet the turn please.

Eh I think it's alright, I personally would have bet the turn and folded to the river bet, especially since you only bet half pot on flop, assuming villain calling range on flop widens due to smaller bet size.

Yea I bet 1/2 pot on the flop since there were no draws so I wanted Js and weak As to pay. Also I had bet into this opponent a bit after being PFR, so I was hoping he'd call down especially light here.

My check on the turn was thinking that he could fold a weak A to a bet... this thought is probably incorrect, I agree with you. I could have bet and checked behind river and been perfectly happy with my play... or folded to river aggression.

Actually, weak A will not fold here. For example, If you call with Ax OOP, what kind of flop do you really want to see? A high dry board is just such a flop you will feel quite satisfied. So can you really fold Ax just because your opponent bet 2 barrel? A bad player can definitely hardly lay down his TP, while a good player will not even call your raise OOP preflop.
