poker stars $0.01/$0.02

BTN: $3.40
Hero (SB): $6.69
BB: $1.79
SAMPLE SIZE=31 VPIP=26 PFR=13 AF=38
UTG: $0.85
SAMPLE SIZE=7 VPIP= 43 PFR=0 AF=29
UTG+1: $2.00
MP1: $2.00
MP2: $0.67
SAMPLE SIZE=26 VPIP=4 PFR=0 AF=33
CO: $2.06

Pre Flop: ($0.03) Hero is SB with K:heart: Q:heart:
UTG calls $0.02, 2 folds, MP2 calls $0.02, 2 folds, Hero?

I had no other reads. I really wasn't sure how to go about playing this hand; this was my first session using a HUD and I'm not sure how seriously I can take the small sample sizes.

How accurate is the MP2 range? I mean, let's say it's 50% wrong due to variance and he actually has a VPIP of 6, that means he only plays 88+,ATs+,KQs,AKo Surely no one is that tight?? Even 8% is a little hard to believe

What is the conventional way to present the opponents stats in a thread?

So I guess if I hit TP I would have to fold if MP2 is betting?

In my experience you don't come across these type of players an awful lot, usually very nitty players either raise or fold. Some of them try to limp early hoping for a raise with their KK and AA.

You still have to keep in mind the UTG player and raise it, looking to isolate him, playing against him will be more profitable than trying to crack a nits hand or outplay him (they're fairly easy to play against but hard to get a lot of money off of).

26 hands is very borderline in determining how loose or tight a player is. You don't need very much to detect a huge fish, but more tricky players will take at least 40-50 hands to start to have an idea of the type of player. (I play about 20% of my hands but a lack of cards can make it appear as 5-6% after 30 hands, not saying I'm tricky though :icon_geek).

I'm not a specialist in HUD configuration but mines is fairly standard and looks something like this :

VPIP/PFR/Steal/3-bet
AF/Flop CB/Fold to flop CB/Went to showdown

Somebody posted a PDF guide they made, and it is now in the golden archive but I can't find it anymore, it explains just about everything you need to know about HUD stats.

Raise 100% of the time here.

Dont worry so much about the HUD if you're new to it. What would you do before you had the HUD?

I'd raise it 100% of the time, simply because I'd assume all my opponents are terrible and would want them to pay for limping K4. Not good logic if one of the opponents is apparently playing 4%

meh, 26 hands isnt a lot and even the tight players will raise their big hands at 2nl more often then not. If I was to pull something from these stats I would say he is deff gonna be on the tighter side but thats about all I could get from the stats at this point. I would still raise. If hes gonna limp raise/call his monsters in MP then you can make a note on him.
