Personally I'd call, but then again, I'd have raised pre-flop with AQ to find out hand strengths, can I ask why you didn't?

Raise preflop and the hand becomes much much easier.

Bet more on the flop, bet more on the turn. Against 2 very loose players I call here all day.

lol fletch. I know it's hard, I had the same problem, slowplaying my strong hands, which is (almost) never a good idea at micro/low stakes. It's just a brain automatism that can be kicked off, just focus and force yourself to have an opening range from every position, and open with it.

Oh yeah, definite call.

The only hand that has you (that is likely to be limped) is J9 ... so you gotta take that risk.

lol AJ both of em......

Another bad thing you did was bet so low on the flop....if they call so much at least get value, bet 3/4 or pot-size or more if they would call more. It might or might not have changed the outcome of this hand, but make them pay for drawing, you will win alot more since they will miss most times

yea, what can I say, this hand was played bad by me from start to finish, I didnt make a stand till they both had the str8, just bad from the get-go. But in retrospect, its not a bad thing, as it is so painfully obvious now how weak I played, this hand (among others of course) has gotten me to analyze my HH much more, and it was a fender-bender as opposed to a total wreck, so I gained valuable insight for a relatively small price.

I think you just need to change your mindset a bit. See even if you had won that particular hand and they missed their draw, you still would have lost actually. A lot. Because it's so -EV to play it like that, a $2 pot win is much more valuable than a $.50 pot win and overtime it really counts.

I know exactly how it feels to be afraid of monster hands, thinking oh no now if I bet everyone will know what I have so I'll just check / min bet etc. but it's just an illusion, a trick you play on yourself.

You can for instance just force yourself to bet 3/4 POT every time, bluffing, value etc. just take all the other options out like they don't exist, and when you get used to that you'll lose that fear of big hands

My cbet bluffs and my cbets for value are both 2/3-3/4 pot. This never changes and I really don't think it should change.
