I think you just need to change your mindset a bit. See even if you had won that particular hand and they missed their draw, you still would have lost actually. A lot. Because it's so -EV to play it like that, a $2 pot win is much more valuable than a $.50 pot win and overtime it really counts.
I know exactly how it feels to be afraid of monster hands, thinking oh no now if I bet everyone will know what I have so I'll just check / min bet etc. but it's just an illusion, a trick you play on yourself.
You can for instance just force yourself to bet 3/4 POT every time, bluffing
, value etc. just take all the other options out like they don't exist, and when you get used to that you'll lose that fear of big hands
