Villain (1300 hands): VPIP/PFR/AF 11/6/2

I wanna think he either flopped the nut flush, has a nut draw, or JJ and hit a set.

Given his stats and the monsters he's shown down with this is an easy fold right? I've never seen a bluff from him. He does have a Cbet of 80% though. I know this isn't a crazy hand or anything but really wanna know what's the correct move in these little spots.

Merge - $0.04 NL - Holdem - 8 players

Easy fold, just steal from him preflop and you win, unless he actually adjusts

Depending on his turn aggression.. You COULD float him if you think he monkey cbets any flops

He only just flatted a BTN open preflop so I think your range is a way too tight and why would he lead out with a monster anyway? I'm calling the flop bet with the plan of folding any turn that he bets and betting any turn that he checks.

I noticed he never 3bets less than KK pre and his blinds range is extremely tight. He usually leads, monster or not. So definite float here?

I have to get over my fear of nits lol. I let this hand go right then and there. Felt like I was gonna bleed money only to fold to a big river bet.

imo he leads Jx here, agreed the range you've given him is way too tight.

although most of his range beats us OTF, he's gonna play straight forward on most turns flush coming in or not so I probably float here too.

Will do guys. I like the idea of that WV. I usually never try to get in big pots with him, but I suppose in spots like this I should loosen up a bit seeing as my stats are showing me to be quite the nit as well. Tournies I play around 27/22 or so and usually do alright. In cash I play like 14/12. Yet I notice at the end of a session I notice the tables where I loosened up more due to the style of action, I ended with a higher win rate. I just need to learn when not to get too carried away. That's when the spewing starts!

Yeah I suppose that's true. So maybe my 9 is good here for the flush? Though I wouldn't invest much more to find out.

if the turn comes a spade and he has like AhJc he's x/f turn anyway.

so if he bets flush turns we can safely fold.

also 14/12 is fine for FR!

Yeah if he checked to me i'd prolly b/f on turn.

And really? I always felt like everyone has me pegged for premium hands which is why I get a lot of folds from my opens.

well at your limit there aren't gonna be any good regs, people should be adjusting to your opens from what position you're in, not overall.

best you get is this nit who donks every hand he has so he has no clue..

he doesn't x/r the NF on the turn either imo, he'll just bet there.
