So before this hand I had lost AK 2-pair twice to ace-high straight in the past two days. I know that is not a reason to play a hand differently but I feel i got scared off of this one. I bet big on the flop because of the hearts out there. Villain is loose passive but seems to know when to give up on hands. I basically shut down when the 10 came on the turn. Looking back at the odds i probably should of check called but i felt i was beat. Thoughts/opinions/suggestions on all streets would be appreciated thank you!

He's a fish, I'd bet for value / fold. Bet like 20BB. I've said this a ton of times, but if you're against a fish, and you checked and he bet 20, would you call? Yes... so bet the amount that you're comfortable calling, and you can easily fold to a raise here.

Other streets look fine. The check on the turn is ok, and his check also signals with the flush draw out there, that he may not be so strong.

Yea i see what you are saying. I definitely should have played it differently after he checked behind on the turn. Im fairly new and notice I have a hard time changing my plan for a hand after I already have my mind set. Thanks for the input.
