$4 NL HE Full Ring: $ 2NL HE Full Ring: Did I analyze this hand correctly?

I know I played this wrong... but how wrong did I play it?

Can you help me analyze my own HA.

Villain is a 14/10/53%AgFq
He 3 bets only 2% over almost 400 hands.

full tilt poker $0.01/$0.02 No Limit Hold'em - 8 players
The Official DeucesCracked.com Hand History Converter

SB: $0.68
BB: $2.15
UTG: $2.10
UTG+1: $2.27
Hero (MP1): $2.90
MP2: $2.00
CO: $5.07
BTN: $4.24

Pre Flop: ($0.03) Hero is MP1 with A K
2 folds, Hero raises to $0.10, 4 folds, BB raises to $0.31, Hero calls $0.21

First off, with a 3 bet of only 2% should I just be foldin this? Against that sort of range(Js+) Im a 60/40 dog. The only reason I called is I had position which I now see is still wrong.

Flop: ($0.63) A Q 3 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $0.44, BB calls $0.44

Ok, I has TPTK but really I am really hoping he has Ks or Js with this flop right? I think this is a bad flop to c bet. During the hand I still c bet and kind of think that Ill fold to a c/r, that was my plan. Ya, Im not too good at making plans...

Turn: ($1.51) K (2 players)
BB bets $0.02, Hero raises to $0.84, BB calls $0.82

OK, now I has top 2. I cant really give him cred for the flush cause the Ac is already out there and besides at a 2% 3 bet he probs wouldnt even show up with AKs right? The K actually make my hand worse now cause Im basically hoping he has Js and Im drawing to maybe 1 clean out, an A.

He bets .02. I hate it when they do this, confuses the super fish in me. I probs should just call that silly bet and treat it like a check right? Draw to my 1 clean out... Of course I do the opposite and make a silly sized bet that pretty much commits me to the hand.

River: ($3.19) 9 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $1.31 all in, BB calls $0.56 all in

OK, pretty much a brick, lol.

I get the option to get to a showdown at this point. OBV check this one back right? Nope, I spew like a tard....

So. Did I play every street as wrong as poss?

On a positive note though, is my HA pretty good for after the fact?

How is your image to him? I think i'm ok with a flop bet/fold, on the turn i probably would just call the 2cent bet i mean what is a TAG doing minbetting the turn like that for? Makes no sense to me. On the river id call a bet from him.

As played i think the turn is where its messed up because now you pretty much have to put him all in by the river. If you felt that you might be behind on the turn you shouldve just called

this level, top 2 pair is good unless there is something like 4 cards to a straight or 4 cards to a flush. do not analyze too much at this level, you will often give credit to people who don't deserve it.

as far as i understand from you post you spewed like a tard, aka you lost. i am going all in here every single time, and it will of course happen that he has me beat, but in the long run this move will bring me a lot of money at this level while if you analyze it the way you did, and start checking in this spot you are going to win less that you could have. so don't kill yourself over losing this hand. good all in.

I was originaly going to just post villains stats and reads I had on him but started analyzing the hand while I was looking at it so I thought I would write down my thoughts and see if they made sense. Sort of practicing my own analyzing.

I picked this hand cause at every point I felt like I was lost on what to do.

bgomez, thanks for the response. My image is tight for sure. The .02 bet was really weird and always confuses me. I also think I should have just called looking back at it now.

forsakenone, I think I have to dissagree with you. I know this player to be tight and a little bit nitty. Just because its on 2nl doesnt mean that someone cant be a nit. You always say I over analyze at these stakes but Im trying to figure out why I cant win and its hands like these that always get me. A lot of the times that I stack off with hands like these I lose to a "cooler". I know I've run bad over the small sample of lifetime hands Ive played but that doesnt mean Im not making a ton of mistakes too.
