Don't setmine in 3-bet pots unless you are very deepstacked (160bb's or more). [/thread]

Ditto.
In the first hand if you had had $4 in your stack it would be fine.
Don't call 3bets to set mine unless the 3bet is minuscule or your deep stacked.
People tend to do this when there getting 3bet alot. If someone is 3betting you light this is even more reason to not set mine as their c-bets are going to own you and u aint gunna get paid off when you hit.

Rather than make another thread. On the subject of 3 bets. I called a 3bet on the button with AKos. I didn't have a read on the villain at all since he had just sat down (he finished the session 43/27). He limped, I raised and he re-raised. Should I have just folded or gotten it all in at the point?

If we're playing fit or fold on the flop, yes, we should've either shoved or folded pf to the 3bet. We don't need to play fit or fold on the flop, though, we can plan pf on floating the flop, in which case calling would make more sense.

I'm not exactly sure what a limp/3bet is at 2nl, but I think it's KK+,AK. Against that range, you're going to lose a lot of money calling and floating, and you're not going to win much money by 4betting.

I give credit for an AA/KK Limp-reraise when someone with a tiny PFR open limps UTG then raises.
This is not an open limp! Shove! Tis a rare rare site when this is AA/KK, this is a fist pump of a shove!

Also I'd raise to 12c there. Your 6c raise is too small.
