$4 NL HE Full Ring: $2NL - Did I do anything right in this hand?

Villain is extremely loose and has stacked off with garbage a few times..Did I do anything right in this hand?

I took his donk bet on the flop as a sign of weakness and thought I had him when he checked the turn - I had a lot of outs as I could see it...

Eh, it looks okay, but the ~60 bb stack size and your bet sizing makes the river pot size and stack size weird.

I'm thinking either raise it more preflop if you think they guy comes along and doesn't notice the difference between a 3x or 5x bb raise. Other option is to bet more on turn.

pre is fine. flop is ok and the turn is cool i guess. I'd probably just check the river though, especially with a possible straight out there and trips.Small hand, small pot. As played, calling river is fine

I'm going to attempt to interpret:

"There is almost nothing worse that will call you here."

LOL - I'm with you 100% - River play is something I really need to work on.

I'd either fold or raise the flop. I don't like calling there. You can't beat anything.

Now the river is a horrible bet, don't bet there. Take the free showdown.

I like the preflop raise, but since ur opponent is a loose/weak opponent, it would probably be a good idea to consider folding and wait for a better flop than to fool around with that person in that hand. U missed the board and they are loose, id wait for a better chance. they are gonna give u opportunities down the line, there is no need to mix it up with em there. Id be more concerned about them leaving the table than playing a questionable hand. they might have gotten lucky on u and hit the board with a bs Jx or have connecters or 1 gapers for a draw, or have ak or a pocket pair. either way that board doesn’t look like fun and ud be in trouble.

At micro lim I wouldn’t even bother worrying too much about how some1 plays (ie –tight, loose or whatever). You should be playing str8 forward no nonsense, non tilting, disciplined poker where the antics of a loose player doesn’t affect ur clear poker decisions. U should be able to make some money by playing str8 forward poker. The point is your better off doing the basics. Save the advanced stuff for higher limits and fold to that later bet or play it cautiously in that situation by skipping the continuation bet because that wont be the last chance u get at that 1 opponent.

Always nice when the $2NL players bail you out on your bad plays :) And I guess if you're going to make an error, value-betting too thinly is probably the best error you could make.
