Two tens of diamonds ???

Rigged, lol.

I think it's an ok fold, folding is very rarely terrible.

Turn was a diamond making it at least 80% he got a draw (in my mind), then river was rag, I check/called in case i Get a FH on river, implied odds were definatly there if he had the hand I put him on.

Just now im wondering did he have king high? Did he just play position cause I showed weakness? Cause it was definatly an over bet at th4e end,.

Don't think he is overbetting a king there, unless he is really stupid.

Hard to see him doing that without a diamond also, check/call on the turn isn't terrible IMO, I would have done the same given the odds.

Wait. So on the turn the board was was KQT2 with 3 diamonds and you ch/called a 1/10 pot bet? Seriously?

First, bet a little more on a flop that wet with a set. He's not folding anything to a PSB that he's not folding to a 2/3 pot bet.

Second, NEVER EVER fail to bet that turn. His entire range is drawing with only a few made hands better than your set. Keep betting and get it in if he shoves/raises.

Against a very realistic range of 99+,AJs+,KJs+,AJo+,KJo+ you have 62% equity.

Don't fold sets. Don't fold sets. Don't fold sets. Had the turn been a Jd and the river another diamond you can fold a set but other than that, don't fold sets.

Duly noted

Do you find you do this often? That is you put people on the one or 2 hands in their range that beats you and either cost yourself money by playing smaller pots or you lose pots when you let someone draw cheaply? If so that's a HUGE leak.

Remember to start with a range and narrow it based on betting actions. I mean I included KK/QQ in my plausible turn range for him just to include a few better hands than your set but the fact is that those hands are very unlikely because he usually would raise sets on that flop with so many draws. Same with AJ for the flopped straight.

Yes, I think I found my biggest leak so far. Thanks a bunch

Edit: I am always putting vilains on range of hands that beat me in draws, and fold as soon as draw hits.

So is that really a spot where you would have looked to keep the pot small in the past?

You should see my graphic since we had this dicussion. A couple of bad beats unfortunatly, but my play is definatly 100000x better.

I do have a question though, how do you play against 80/10/50 calling station, that are extremly agressive. I hjave went broke in this situation many time today, some of them bad beats, some of them where they have the better hand right from the start, but their range is so wide I can't not call... (they often have really huge stack has they doubled off earlier, with such number, hard to put them on any range.)

A player cant be both a calling station and really aggressive.

If they are the calling station the you value bet them with your TPTK+ type hands. Never bluff.

If they are super agro you have to just stack off a little lighter then you'd normally be comfortable with, like TPGK. That is if you have seen them call stacks with mediocre hands. They will show up with decent hands some times of course but vs their range you'll be ahead a lot of the time.

I misguided you a bit. What I mean is they are super looses preflop, and get very agressive post flop, what ever they hit. They fold to 3bet as much as they call 3bet, theres no definite read on them. They could be raising with high pair low kicker as much as with the nuts.
