Villian is 40/10 over a small sample and I have just won two fairy large pots from him where he had nothing. His tendencey is to call all the way to the river so his raise did have me concerned though I'd seen him lose a buy-in from another player witt bottom pair. Is this a fold on the river or was the call ok?

The call seems fine only hand that makes sense is him slowplaying the 6 on the flop if he has you beat.

i think pascal means he had nothing....again

Yup. Rivered TPTK isn't something he'll likely put you on and he's already shown he's willing to throw money around so call and if you're wrong take a note he sometimes slow plays big hands on boards with flush draws.

Did he raise at any point in the 2 hands where you won dollar from him, or in the hand where had bottom pair? B/c if a passive fish just raised when he could have called as usual, and i have TPTK then i fold, 2nl players are so transparent its unreal, take them for what they are and dont get too concerned about meta-game "I done this 10 hands ago and he said blow me fish", he doesnt care, and he probably doesnt remember b/c he's too busy working out how many cards he has to a straight :)

No, he's super aggressive generally raising and rerasing - his general passivity in this hand should have raised alarm bells.

Is he super aggressive or is he passive???? Me confused lol

The best piece of advise i ever read concerning the micros was "bet bet bet...until they raise" even though it is a small sample 40/10 suggests he is passive and he over bet the pot on the river, at the micros this generally means, "please think i'm bluffing, this huge bet looks like i am anyways, just call I HAVE THE NUTS!!!!!" lol

And you said yourself, he never raised at any point in the hands where you beat him, he raised here and he beat you.........

yeah, I can see i've confused it!

To clarify, against me when he called, called and called in previous hands he was passive and was happy to do that with nothing...so this is the first hand against me that he raised. Looking back specifically over his hands I can see that he tended to get pretty spewy post flop and bluffed with air with lots of raises and reraises.
