$4 NL HE Full Ring: 2nl, Checked big blind and turned 2 pair

I had just sat down at this table. While waiting for the blinds to get around to me I noticed villian had been limping in a good bit, nearly every hand. Should I have let this go, should I have bet turn, maybe bet flop??

From a good player, this is never a set - KK would have raised pf and bet the flop, and a set would never check a flop w a fd. It's also not KQ, since that would have bet the flop too. Oddly enough, his play makes his hand look to me exactly like what you're holding, K5, or K4, or maybe a combo draw, say JdTd. I'd raise that turn if I were holding AcKc or AdQd, but I'd usually bet the flop w both of those hands.

From a fish, I'd add AK/KJ/KT to the list, and the sets are possible there too (but you're holding one of the K's and one of the 5's, so...).

I'm definitely not betting the flop w K5, and I play the turn the same way, too many hands we're ahead of. I take it you lost the hand since you asked if you should have let it go - I wouldn't. Assuming you were behind on the turn (if he outdrew you, you got your money in good so no problem), make a note of villain's play and get your money back later.

doubtful ur behind here because the only hand that beats u is top two or a set and he's not gonna make a huge over-raise with one of those hands so he could be drawing or just have hit the King and gone crazy like top pair is the nuts.

What did he have anyway?

A four came on the river and he turned over pocket aces and took it down with two pair. I know his play was horrendous, I was just wondering what everyone would have done differently.
