$4 NL HE Full Ring: 2NL - Another AK question

I know there are a load of threads about AK but I just wanted your opinion on how I played this one. Villian is a passive 14/2 and folds to a 3bet over 90% of the time. I figured he had a big pair but not Aces or Kings as I think he would have shoved after my 3bet. The queen concerned me on the flop as I figured he may have a set but when he checked along with me I put him on TT - JJ. Should I have played more aggressively?

I will see what you guys think before showing the result. Thanks in advance - this hand analysis section is gold!

C-bet that flop. Its a great flop to c-bet, because only AQ, KQ, and QQ hit it. The rest of his range isn't going to feel very comfortable.

A lot of your profit comes from 3-betting, and then c-betting, and taking down a very large pot.

you have to c-bet this flop especially since you 3 bet preflop, otherwise you are playing hit or quit poker which is easy to play against.

Thanks C9. I think this is a real leak of mine not c-betting enough when I miss the flop.

Yep, I definitely should have c-bet. He showed down JJ and won. Think my c-bet probably would have scared him off. 3-betting and then checking down is, even by my standards, pretty dumb.

Yeah just bet the flop he probably won't call without a Q or a set and it's hard to get those.
