$4 NL HE Full Ring: $2 NL HE - Flopped straight and flush draw against weak-tight calling station.

Microstakes LOL. First time posting on HA. I do apologise if I've made any errors in this post.

My read on villain was that he was a tight-weak player. Only raised premium hands like AK - AJ and shuts down when he doesn't hit flop. Not sure whether this was the correct line to take in this hand but I figured I had such a big draw.

This is what pokerstove evaluates vs a range of AA KK QQ and AJ+ if you figure that is his only continuing range with this flop. If hes tight and raising in EP then this seems like a decent range.

Board: Ac 7c 6h
Dead:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 54.112% 54.11% 00.00% 27321 0.00 { 9c8c }
Hand 1: 45.888% 45.89% 00.00% 23169 0.00 { QQ+, AJs+, AJo+ }

I would 3 bet it a lot bigger, like .45-.60, somewhere around there and try to get his 60bb stack in there. You have a monster draw and good equity at this point. One of the better flops for your hand.

I forgot to say that this should probably be folded preflop. Your OOP and HU vs a strong range. Your gonna c/f a lot of flops making this an unprofitable play.

you should fold pre. my blind play to an open raiser is basically 3bet or fold, so this is clearly a fold.

I don't like the call preflop especially given your reads. Basically to call with a SC OOP preflop you need huge implied odds which you're never going to get from this guy 1) because he's only a 60BB stack and 2) because he plays fit or fold post based on your reads.

As played try to get as much money in as possible on the flop by raising to something like .40 cent. Shoving the turn seems fine since you picked up a couple of outs and the pot is so big compared to the remaining stacks.

BTW it was a fine 1st HA post. Please don't hesitate to keep posting hands you have questions about.
