Ok played this hand, and got a tiny bit worried that the board was going to fill up on the river making me chop this pot. But would you have done what I did on the turn?

After looking over the hand again, I think a raise on the flop would have been smarter ( 1 person behind me to act still )

So if any strait draws were drawing out I would make them pay more for it.

Also the guy I shoved on was a fish, after 20 hands his VP was aroun 65% :) sO I felt he might call me

The turn is vomit inducing bad. You fold out everything but a J and lose the maximum when he has it. b/f is best imo (unless he min raises or something stupid then obv call). I'm not getting your reasoning of the board filling up making you chop? It isn't even possible for villian to have a hand that makes you chop, in fact if he calls you need to start praying the board pairs.

Just seen what you wrote underneath:

I 3-bet this all day along against a fish, we have him crushed at this point and you know a fish hates to fold and it means we get him all to ourself, IP, pretty much a wet dream.

Raise flop as well.

No question raise the flop on that board. I don't mind shoving depending on the likelihood you feel of a call cuz it's likely he has a pair and some sort of draw. AQ maybe, AK maybe.

What all in was ****ing that? Look at the pot and his stack. And I think that your opp would fold even AA in this spot. But he have no AA cos too low raise pre. Its a matter of player for sure. You need to check your tens in this spot try to catch full house and hope he actually has straight. Or just bet 2/3 of the pot on the turn and see what he does. A reraise would come up by straight definately or just a call to decept you or maybe he calls with A low or two pair (Its a matter what reputation you have). So you check the river then if he does not bet. That was so so bad play. You gain nothing with this all in, but just getting called by straight or your opponent folds good hand but not a straight. Some donks may pay off but is he donk? Even against a donk i would try to catch full house and stay safe.

lmao, sick ^

but yeah I'm with Blue on this.. had to refresh the page to see if it just loaded weird.

How on earth do you:
1) not raise the flop for value and to protect against draws
2) and then ship it when the straight comes in, WITHOUT a straight?

lol, you spazzed out majorly here bro.. I don't think anyone on the forum would have done the same, even if it is 4nl.

Raise the flop in general pretty much all the time at these stakes when you hit a set. When the board is this coordinated it should just be an automatic raise imo. On the turn I am not really sure what your bet accomplishes. He just folds all worse and calls with better. I would just check behind.

Agree with everything else said ITT. You butchered this hand but not to worry, that's why you're learning right :)

My only other problem is the :
and got a tiny bit worried that the board was going to fill up on the river making me chop this pot.

Filling up means you hit your full house. IE a QK or A comes on the river.

I ment filled up by a J hitting thus completing a strait and a chop. :)

Yeah I got that but when we say "filled up" we mean hit the full house. Like tens full of aces. If the ace hits you have filled up.
