I have a problem with calling too many questionable rivers. This is exactly the kind of river that I find myself hovering the mouse around the fold button then calling as time expires(so its most likely a bad call). The villain is a fish, pretty passive but I haven't seen him showdown after any kind of river bet which he seems to make everytime. There are a ton of things that beat me but I feel like he would have raised if he hit the flush and if he hit a set on the flop he would have raised also so I'm discounting the full house( J10 makes more sense than flopping a set). I'm just generally befuddled when it got to the river.

Flush is obviously a possibility but I dont think so. Q10 is my guess, I dont think you are good here, but its a tough one.. lets see what the experts say

I am folding this pre.

Simply because I am not good enough to play QJ off from OOP.

I fold pre unless there's some 80vpip in the blinds. Even then the fish on the button would still cause me to fold.

I check/fold the turn. Plenty of straight draws, all flush draws, Jx, T9 all beat us. Sure villains a fish Q9/QT/KT/T8s/89 and the likes may still call but even if all of them did we're still outnumbered. Seeing as villains passive he probably won't bet worse value so we can sit back and see a showdown.

As played the river is a snap fold. It would be even if villain weren't passive. He has next to no air and the best value hand we beat is As9 which is just going to check back.

I second check/folding after the turn. Everything caught up, and fish arent going to vbet worse than QJ.
