Villian Stats (VPIP/PFR/AF): 29/13/28

So I hit trip 10s on the flop and a full house on the turn. After raising the guy's Cbet I hit the full house and decided to check behind. In hindsight I'm thinking this may have been the wrong decision. He checked the river and called my 3/4 bet but because he did that I'm thinking I should have bet the turn too.

Are we always betting the turn here? I do generally avoid slow-playing at the micros but I thought showing a bit of weakness might have tempted him into either betting the river (card pending) or calling my river bet.

Draws do not pay you when the river whiffs, plus you can't get stacks in if you check. Easy bet here. I likely raise the flop more too, but that's nit picky.

slow playing anything in micros is most of the time a wrong decision :)

yeah i think it would've been better to barrel on the turn as well because since he called your big raise on the flop he either hit the flop or was on a draw. Either way, if he called one big re-raise, I don't think he will fold to another one, so a value bet makes sense here, and then it allows the pot size to increase and then your value bet on the river will be larger.
