OMG, don't listen to this. ^^

why do I have to police threads to stop this kind of advice being given?!

https://www.cardschat.com/forum/learning-poker-57/things-fish-do-you-shouldnt-aka-207721/

read this, the main bit not all the comments.

deffo re-raise pre here! NOT a min raise. we have the pre-flop nuts and we want value for it, especially as villain is aggressive/spewy he could stack off with us pre-flop pretty wide.

that board isn't the best for us as it's likely for the villain to have a lot of sets/2 pair hands that beat us now, although villain is likely to stack off with a lot of combo draws such as Jx/KQ/QJ.

on top of the fact you donk bet, got raised, and he potted the turn, I think this is a fold imo.

:dito: I can agree here, definitely put more pressure PF, villain could have based his play off the weakness we shown PF but we don't know for sure, the turn bet looks like he is willing and ready to get it in with u here. If we call here I think almost certain we'd have to shove the river. (which I think is bad for us) So hard fold bt most likely best. Good stuff Campbell!

Never flat AA from the SB to an UTG raise.

Calling pre with AA if ok in some situations. This definitely isn't one of them.

Urrrgh! As if flatting aces is bad enough (99% of the time) but we do it OOP vs a super aggro fish! 3betting here is like printing money!

As played I feel like folding the flop. QT/Q9/T9/KJ/QQ/TT/99. It's a really really horrible flop for us. The only thing we have going for us is that villain is an absolute spew tard so he may raise Jx even if he does have a pair. It's very close.
I'd stove this but it's not a scenario we should ever be getting in vs this guy anyway. KK/Jx/8x/random shite are our rays of hope.

Yeah, I'd pretty much have to agree with what everyone else here is saying. Not raising preflop with AA's in this situation is a HUGE leak in your game. You need to realize that a villain with stats like that is raising in this spot with a huge range and will probably call your 3bet with really wide range here too. If he is doing both of those things, there is absolutely no reason not to raise here. Your are giving up so much money just on the flop, plus you are putting your self into really tough and awkward positions after the flop (just like you saw here). You haven't made him define his hand yet, and have no idea where you are in this hand. Just remember, at 4Nl, you are pretty much never not raising AA's preflop, ever.

I thought I can attract more money after flop, as he is very spew, so I flat call. This is the first time I did it.

Its much easier to build big pots when you 3 bet pre. Stacks are pretty much gtd to get in that way. Pots grow exponentially so the earlier you make them bigger the better.
