$4 NL HE 6-max: Should I bet this turn, or wait??

I had about 140 hands on this guy and he was a decent player. I feel like he's on a spade draw and I really don't want to lose him here. Should I go ahead and bet or see what the flop brings? (C9, I know you are gonna say bet, so don't bother. But an explanation of why would be nice.)

bet bet bet. if you think he's on a spade draw, give him correct odds for a call.

bet, you wanna inflate the pot as big as possible. also i'm somehow convinced that unless you overbet the pot, he'll probably still call with his flush draw. people don't fold flush draws.

Yep rammy jammy. Especially on nl$4, people will call with lots of random crap.

If it's your lucky day, he might have a 2 and think he just hit gin. Bet. Flush draws still call.

Oops, forgot to say this is 1c/2c, not 2/4c. I don't know why they don't give that option.

Even this nit says bet. You want to keep him in the pot, so how much? I would go 2/3 to pot (10C to 14C). That should at least get a call with his stack. He'll want to see if it hits, esp if he has the Q or K.

I wouldn't get overly confident here though. What if he has pkt 4's, or another pkt pair that hits on the river ... ? but make him pay to see it.

I like betting 1/2-2/3 the pot here.
If he has a spade draw like u think he is never paying u of on the river when he misses so u have to get some $ in now but you also whant to make a bet that will induce him to draw, 2/3 the pot should to the trick imo.

how much is he going to call with the range you put him on? bet that much for max. value
