This is a Carbon hand, no conversion available.

I have QQ at UTG + 1. I open raised to 16c (4xBB). CO and BTN both call. Blinds fold.

Flop comes J23 rainbow. I lead out with 40c into the 54c pot. CO thinks for a while then calls. BTN then insta-shoves, and it would have been about $2 more for me to call. Neither villain were the maniac type so it's likely both had a hand. What do I do here?

I have 56c committed, and about $2.80 left. I have BTN covered but CO has me covered. I thought for a long time...

2 pairs is very unlikely given board texture, so I was likely up against one or two sets and/or top pair strong kicker (like AJ, KJ). KK and AA were unlikely given the call preflop.

CO actually worried me a little more because on a board like that, I didn't put him on any draw, so a flat call after some playacting could have been a slowplay of a set. Or, he might have had a hand like 10 10 and was truly thinking it over.

If one of them had something like AJ, then that makes JJ less likely but 22 and 33 remain distinct possibilities.

Should I lay down top pair here? How often am I ahead?

Call, fist-pump. I don't expect droolers to open-jam a set.

I had such a tough time with this cuz my gut said I was up against at least one set. I think I play too weak.

If it was heads up against the BTN shove, which smells like a J with strong kicker, I call, but CO’s unusually slow call on the non-drawy board was what worried me the most. I just couldn’t determine if he had a set or was really thinking over his 88-10 10 type of hand. BTN’s shove pretty much commits me if I don’t fold.

At these stakes, I don't worry to much about them here. I think the one guy has AJ and the other guy(who hesitated) has something like AX making him a gutshot draw. Your more often ahead here. The guy was probably just trying to figure out his straight lol...LizaBuv
