$4 NLHE 6-max: Q10 in sb with a calling station. K on river and big bet from villain.

Firstly he's passive so I noticed when he came alive. He could have been calling with Khigh flush draw that hit tp on the river, strange two pair or set make sense, I could even imagine this guy calling two streets with AKo.

SB: $3.47
BB Hero: $4.25
UTG: $2 (sitting out)
MP: $3.13
CO: $1.94
BTN: $3.62

Pre-flop: ($0.06) Hero is BB and dealt :qh4: :10h4:
MP calls $0.04, 2 folds, SB calls $0.02, Hero raises to $0.16, MP calls $0.12, SB folds

Flop: ($0.36) :3h4: :4d4: :10d4: (3 players)
Hero bets $0.24, MP calls $0.24

Turn: ($0.84) :3h4: :4d4: :10d4: :7h4: (3 players)
Hero bets $0.56, MP calls $0.56

River: ($1.96) :3h4: :4d4: :10d4: :7h4: :ks4: (3 players)
Hero checks, MP bets $2.17 (All-in)

SNAP!

Fish for some reason play very aggressive on the river. This should probably be a fold, but I just cant give a fish credit for a real hand here. Also, bet larger on the turn.

Sorry for resurecting an old thread, but when you say bet the turn larger, are you generally just potting your tp hands against stations?

I call not super happy because of the straight draws coming in but there isn't that many monsters he can hold. KT makes perfect sense, sets even fish may raise when the double flush draw comes in (although we will see them from time to time), and JJ/AT cease to be a worry once he shoves.

We can expect to see busted flush draws at least the 35% of the time we need over 56/KT or the occasional Kd9d/KdJd. His passiveness makes him not raising his draws more likely yet even passive fish can bluff their rivers with busted draws. It's so common to see someone too passive to raise their flush draw on the flop yet capable of bluffing it when it bricks the river.
